This policy explains what happens to personal information when you visit canada20bet.com. It is written with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) in mind, and with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector for readers in that province.
We don’t ask you for anything. There is no registration, no login, no contact form and no newsletter on this site. We use no analytics tools or advertising trackers, and we set no cookies.
What follows is the detail behind that statement, including the two things that do leave your browser.
Directly from you: nothing. There is no field anywhere on this site where you could enter personal information.
Server logs. Like any website, ours is served by a hosting provider that records standard request data — IP address, time, the file requested, browser and referring page. Those logs exist for security and diagnostics; they are not used to build profiles and are not linked to any identity.
Browser storage. We keep a single entry in your browser’s sessionStorage so that the intro animation plays once per visit rather than on every page. It holds the value “1”, contains no personal information, never leaves your device and disappears when you close the tab.
Google Fonts. Our typefaces load from Google’s servers, which means your IP address and browser details reach Google when a page loads. Google may process that data outside Canada, including in the United States. If you would rather this did not happen, let us know — we can serve the fonts from our own servers.
The operator. If you follow an affiliate link, the operator and its affiliate network learn that you arrived from this site, along with whatever their own systems record. From that point on, their privacy policy applies, not ours.
We do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone else.
Server logs are handled for one purpose only: keeping the site available and secure. That is a purpose a reasonable person would expect, as PIPEDA requires, and the logs are kept only as long as the hosting provider needs them for it.
We do not keep the browser storage entry at all: it lives on your device, and your browser deletes it when the session ends.
Under PIPEDA you can ask for access to the personal information an organization holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, and withdraw your consent to its handling. Quebec residents have additional rights under Law 25, including de-indexation and portability.
In practice we keep almost nothing that could identify you, so for log data the most useful route is usually the hosting provider.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or in Quebec to the Commission d’accès à l’information.
This site is not intended for anyone under the legal gambling age in their province (18 or 19), and we do not knowingly handle information relating to minors.
A reminder that we do not run player accounts: for questions about an account, deposit, withdrawal or bonus, contact the operator’s customer support directly.
If we add anything that changes the picture — analytics, an embedded widget, a contact form — we will update this page before it goes live, not after.
