This page sets out our position on cookies and similar technologies. Canadian privacy law expects organizations to be open about any tracking they do, so here is exactly what happens on this site.
Cookie Policy
We don’t use cookies
canada20bet.com sets no cookies of its own and triggers no third-party cookies. There is no analytics tag, no advertising pixel and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
What we actually store
A single entry in sessionStorage, named ca20_welcome, with the value “1”. It tells the site you have already seen the intro animation, so it doesn’t repeat on every page.
It is not a cookie: it is never sent to a server, other sites cannot read it, and your browser deletes it when you close the tab. It is strictly necessary for a feature you asked for by loading the page, and it holds no personal information.
Cookies set by other sites
Google Fonts serves our typefaces without setting cookies, although it does see your IP address — our Privacy Policy covers that.
The operator’s site is a different story. It sets its own cookies for sessions, affiliate attribution and marketing. Those are governed by its cookie policy, which you should read once you get there.
Clearing and blocking
Every major browser lets you clear site data and block storage site by site, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking storage for this site has one visible effect: the intro animation will play on every page instead of just once.
If we ever introduce a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first, and this page will say so.
